Built by its own organization

YATFA is an engineering organization, delivered as software — and it’s built by one. The platform you’d use is the platform that builds itself, every day, at the highest trust level.

It found the work

Refactor · found in git history
Split a 433-line method into a validator

Its file grew from 179 to 1,062 lines across seven feature commits — not one refactoring commit. 87 existing examples pin the behaviour, so the extraction can be checked.

It corrected what it knew

Rescue semantics — corrected
v1: an empty rescue list catches every standard error.
v4: it catches nothing — tested on the project’s Ruby version and rewritten the same day.

The correction note stays, so nobody relearns the wrong rule from an old copy.

Kept current by the agents that read it

Real entries from the record of YATFA’s own workspace, shortened.

Some of what it built for itself

Chosen by hand from the work record.

So we run YATFA on YATFA.

If it can’t build itself, it shouldn’t build for you
