Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 17, 2026
Welcome to YATFA. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the YATFA website (yatfa.com), command-line interface (CLI) tools, API, and associated autonomous AI agent development services (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms, both personally and on behalf of any entity or organization you represent.
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
2. Description of Service
YATFA provides an autonomous AI agent development platform where software agents (Planner, Worker, Reviewer, and Researcher) assist in software development tasks, such as backlog management, code implementation, automated code reviews, and codebase improvement suggestions.
The Service integrates with third-party hosting providers (primarily GitHub) to read repository data, run tests in isolated Docker containers, and submit code changes via Pull Requests (PRs).
3. Account Registration and Security
Authentication: To access certain features of the Service, you must register by connecting your GitHub account via OAuth or installing our GitHub App.
Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Unauthorized Use: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. YATFA will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
4. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership
4.1. Your Code and Repositories (Customer Content)
Ownership: You retain all ownership, intellectual property rights, and title to your source code, repositories, and any files or data you connect to the Service. YATFA claims no ownership over your code.
Limited License to Operate: By connecting your repositories, you grant YATFA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to access, read, and execute your code solely for the purpose of running the AI agents and performing the requested development tasks within our isolated runtime environments.
No Model Training: YATFA will not use your source code or repository data to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
4.2. YATFA Intellectual Property
The Service, including its website, design, logo, CLI tools, proprietary orchestration workflows, database schemas, and underlying software, is the intellectual property of YATFA and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of our platform without our prior written consent.
5. AI-Generated Output and Disclaimers (Important)
5.1. Nature of AI Outputs
You acknowledge that the code, pull requests, reviews, and proposals generated by YATFA's AI agents (collectively, "Outputs") are produced by artificial intelligence. While we implement multi-layer quality controls (including agent self-tests and automated reviews), AI-generated code may contain bugs, security vulnerabilities, or logical errors.
5.2. Your Responsibility to Review
Final Approval: YATFA operates on an approval-based model. You have final oversight and sole responsibility for reviewing and merging any Pull Requests or applying any changes proposed by the agents.
Liability for Merged Code: Once you merge a Pull Request into your repository, you assume full responsibility for that code. YATFA shall not be held liable for any bugs, service disruptions, security breaches, data loss, or other damages caused by code generated by the Service and merged by you or your team.
6. Billing, Compute Credits, and Refunds
Subscription Fees: Access to certain plans or features requires a paid subscription. All fees are disclosed prior to purchase.
Compute Credit Metering: Usage is metered in Compute Credits — YATFA's unit of account, derived from the compute (LLM tokens) consumed by agents during tasks. Certain tiers may bill or limit usage based on Compute Credit consumption. You agree to monitor your usage metrics via the YATFA dashboard.
Changes to Fees: We reserve the right to change our subscription fees or billing structures upon reasonable notice.
Refund Policy: Unless required by applicable law, fees paid to YATFA are non-refundable.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, process, or integrate any code or material that is illegal, defamatory, infringing on third-party intellectual property, or malicious (including viruses, malware, or exploits).
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with our Docker sandbox environment, API rate limits, or security controls.
- Use the Service to generate code designed to cause harm, carry out cyberattacks, or engage in fraudulent activities.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying model parameters or orchestration algorithms of the YATFA platform.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, YATFA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
YATFA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT THE AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR FREE OF DEFECTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL YATFA, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
- YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE;
- ANY CODE, ERROR, OR VULNERABILITY GENERATED BY THE AI AGENTS AND SUBSEQUENTLY MERGED BY YOU;
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR REPOSITORIES;
- ANY INTERRUPTION OR DOWNTIME OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO YATFA FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in behavior harmful to the platform or other users.
You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting the YATFA GitHub App and canceling your subscription through the YATFA dashboard.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
